Does anyone else here get hangover-like symptoms the day after consuming real garlic?
Whenever I eat the stuff, I wake up the next morning nauseous, fatigued, and with a headache. The greater the intake the worse the hangover. Ironically, if the garlic is consumed with alcohol, it seems to mitigate the effects quite a bit.
I've been unsucessful attempting to track down a possible MOA for this reaction. I'm more curious than bothered by it. I never really craved the stuff, nor do I eat a lot of Italian anymore. Any ideas?
